Asunción, Agencia IP.- When commemorating the National Industry Day on September 8, President Santiago Peña highlighted the role of the sector in generating jobs and a better future for Paraguayans.
In a commemorative video, the President highlighted the role of industries in the development and future of the country. Peña assumed the presidency of the Republic, intending to generate 500,000 new jobs.
About this, Peña affirmed that he would lead a government that advocated to work determinedly for the well-being of all Paraguayans.
One of the goals for the industrial sector is the diversification of industries, encouraging them with potential for the country, such as forestal, indicated the Minister of Industry and Commerce (MIC, by its acronym in Spanish), Javier Giménez.
To all this, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce assumed a commitment to boosting access to broader markets and simplifying processes, counting on the support of the executive power and other institutions. For instance, the consular duties will be eliminated as an immediate measure. In the long term, it is planned to have an agile and modern state.
