Asunción, Agencia IP.- Santiago Peña achieved his first 100 days of Government. In that context, the Head of State assured that he was pleased by the achievements but recognized that «we still have a long way to go.»
The press requested Peña before leaving the Government Palace, where he participated today in the National Strategy to Combat Corruption presentation with the leading representatives of the three powers of the State, the Public Ministry, and the Comptroller General of the Republic.
On the occasion, the President admitted that there is still much to do and that in this effort, he is demanding a lot from all ministers and directors of entities to improve citizens’ quality of life.
«If there is something that we wanted to reach, it was the coordinated work not only between the institutions that make up the Executive but also the other powers of the State,» he indicated.
Likewise, Peña also valued the joint tasks currently being carried out and said that the efforts are focused on the well-being of all Paraguayans.
He also stated that previously, the institutions operated each on their own, which changed since he started to lead the country.
Finally, he highlighted the effort that each of his collaborators have made since the beginning of the administration to respond to the needs of each Paraguayan.
