These are the Paraguayan processing plants approved to export beef to the United States

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The United States Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has released the list of Paraguayan establishments authorized to export refrigerated and frozen beef to the United States.

The eligible beef processing plants are Cooperativa Neuland, Frigomerc, San Antonio, Guaraní, Frigochorti, Frigochaco, Norte S.A., Belén, and Concepción S.A.

These establishments are part of the list of approved sites by the United States Department of Agriculture. On November 9th, the approval of the Paraguayan request was announced after a rigorous process that took several years.

Paraguay’s authorization means the country can export beef to the United States again after 25 years. Authorities and producers have highlighted the coordinated efforts to meet all the requirements over the years.
