Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, headed the first meeting of the Social Cabinet of the presidency, which reunites state institutions with incidence on the government’s social policies.
The President stated the importance of an integral approach of the State that allows the institutions to coordinate work to help families going through hunger and needs.
Peña expressed optimism about the capacity of its Cabinet to generate opportunities “for more Paraguayans to be better”.
At the meeting, authorities from the Ministries of Agriculture and Cattle, Women, Social Development, Education, Childhood and Adolescence, Technologies of Information and Communication, Health, Work and Employment, Housing, Economy and Finances, Technical Unit of the Presidency, Secretariats of Youth and National Emergency, among others participated.
