Korean specialists provide technical assistance in Cordillera and Central

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The official presentation of new professional volunteers from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) took place, introducing individuals who will provide cooperative services in various departments of the country over a one-year period.

The event was held at the Vice Ministry of Economy and Planning (VEP) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).

The new volunteers include Do Seok Jang (Daniel) and Onechul Cho (Lucas), specialists in Information Technology; Dongchan Kim (Rafael), a specialist in art education; and Minji Jung (Luna), a specialist in youth development. They will provide technical assistance in public institutions of the Central and Cordillera departments.

The Vice Ministry of Economy and Planning has a department that processes volunteer requests from relevant institutions. This department acts as a liaison with the Cooperation Agency to coordinate efforts between both institutions. This ensures that the service provided by the volunteers contributes to capacity-building and has an impactful effect on communities throughout the country.
