Beef exports exceed $1.4 billion as of October

Asunción, Agencia IP.- Beef exports reached $1.415 billion by the end of October, according to data released Friday by the National Animal Health and Quality Service (Senacsa).

This amount represents the second-highest record for beef export revenues in the first ten months of the year, based on data since 2020. Regarding volume, 287,943,351 kilograms of beef has been exported as of the end of October.

As for destinations, Chile stands out as the most important market, purchasing over 104 million kilos. It is followed by Taiwan with over 31 million kilos, Brazil and the United States with 22 million kilos each, and Israel with 21 million kilos. Russia closes out the top buyers, with over 18 million kilos.

In October alone, the Paraguayan meat industry processed 181,030 cattle, generating nearly 45 million kilos of beef.
