Asunción, Agencia IP.- Paraguay’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, met with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the meeting, both emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, such as the commuter train and the airport.
They also discussed the possibility of the UAE serving as a gateway for Paraguayan products in the region, opening new opportunities for trade and economic growth for both countries.
Additionally, according to the Paraguayan Foreign Ministry’s report, they reviewed the progress of the agreement between Mercosur and the UAE.
Finally, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to working together to deepen bilateral cooperation and explore new areas of collaboration.
