Asunción, Agencia IP.- The National Service for Animal Quality and Health (Senacsa) announced that it has successfully completed the evaluation process of the audit results conducted by the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG Sante) of the European Union (EU).
The Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG Sante) of the European Union successfully concluded the evaluation process of the audit results on official controls and the certification system for beef and tripe production intended for export to the EU.
This is part of the process for renewing Paraguay’s authorization to export beef and tripe to the European Union.
This information was officially released by Senacsa through a statement issued this Wednesday.
The EU audit was conducted in September 2024 and also included controls on residues of pharmacologically active substances, pesticides, and contaminants. It is part of the process for renewing Paraguay’s authorization for beef and tripe exports, according to the statement issued by Senacsa.
