Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, confirmed the opening of the Singapore market for Paraguayan beef, pork, and poultry.
The government highlighted that this new achievement for Paraguay’s livestock production and industry is the result of sustained collaboration between the public and private sectors, which has been internationally recognized.
Peña began his official visit to Singapore last Friday, meeting with government authorities, including the country’s President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who confirmed the new market opening for Paraguayan beef, pork, and poultry.
«I am proud to announce that Paraguay is conquering new Asian markets and reaching Singapore with our beef, pork, and poultry,» Peña stated through his social media accounts.
He emphasized that this achievement reaffirms what Paraguayans can do when they work together: «more exports, more jobs, more development,» he highlighted.
The President pointed out that gaining one more market for Paraguay will significantly benefit producers who make million-dollar investments to position the sector.
«Exporting more means growing more, generating opportunities, and positioning Paraguay as a country that produces with quality, vision, and pride. We continue paving the way for Paraguay’s development,» the Head of State remarked.
This new milestone for Paraguay’s livestock production and industry results from sustained joint efforts between the public and private sectors, which have been internationally acknowledged, the Government reiterated.
