Asunción, Agencia IP.- Paraguay’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), José Chih-Cheng Han. The meeting focused on strengthening the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, which took place last Friday at the Ministry’s headquarters, the two officials discussed various aspects of cooperation. They explored new avenues to deepen the bonds of friendship and collaboration.
They also discussed the upcoming visit to Paraguay by Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lin Chia-lung, which will further consolidate the strategic alliance and address topics of mutual interest to both nations.
Paraguay and the Republic of China (Taiwan) established official diplomatic relations in 1957. Currently, both governments are working to deepen their bilateral relationship.
