Taipei, Agencia IP.- Paraguay is participating in the international fair Food Taipei Mega Shows 2025, one of Asia’s most prominent food and beverage events. This will take place until June 28 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
The country’s presence is represented through a national pavilion that brings together prominent Paraguayan companies. The pavilion aims to position Paraguay’s agri-food production in the competitive Asian market.
Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the fair is a key platform for showcasing product quality, diversity, and innovation worldwide.
This year, Paraguay is represented by companies such as ALPACASA, Minerva Foods, TGL Food, UPISA, Cacao Lab, Emperatriz, Nutrex, Superfoods Paraguay, and Villa Franca S.A., all known for their commitment to excellence and export capacity.
During the official opening, the national pavilion was attended by Minister Adriana López de Puerta, Acting Chargé d’Affaires, along with First Secretary and Consular Officer José Silguero, and Trade Attaché Macarena Barboza, who invited attendees to discover Paraguayan products on the 4th floor of the exhibition center.
On June 25, Villa Franca S.A. kicked off Paraguay’s participation with a presentation on the main stage, highlighting the originality and quality of its meat products.
Minerva Foods attracted interest from visitors by offering a tasting of seasoned meats. At the same time, other companies will hold presentations throughout the event.
Nutrex, with export experience in over 70 countries, is celebrating its first participation in an international fair with its stand. It is marking a milestone by showcasing its products in Taiwan, a key destination for the company.
Cacao Lab, Emperatriz, and Ñandeté also stood out for the innovation and authenticity of their products.
Ñandeté drew attention with its morning energizing tea made from moringa, ginger, lemon verbena, boldo, and other native herbs.
Emperatriz introduced the world’s first distilled spirit from cassava, infused with tea and botanicals—a unique product making its international debut at this fair.
As a sweet ending, the functional chocolate Kuña Mbarete was appreciated for its health benefits, specially designed to support women’s wellness.
