Peña’s visit to Hungary opens new development opportunities for Paraguay

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, carried out his official visit to Hungary yesterday, where he was received by his counterpart, Tamás Sulyok, with whom he held a meeting. The encounter marks the beginning of a process to strengthen ties between the two nations and explore new opportunities for shared development, Peña stated.

Later, the Paraguayan leader met with Hungary’s Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán, with whom he discussed “a deep agenda on the global geopolitical context, the situation in Europe, and the integration process of Mercosur and Latin America,” he reported.

«We agreed that the strategic alliance between our nations represents a great opportunity. We are united by a political vision grounded in shared values and principles, as well as a commercial partnership that will allow us to take advantage of the benefits of a potential agreement,» the Paraguayan President highlighted.

The visit to Hungary is part of the foreign policy dynamics of President Peña’s administration, which is «determined to continue connecting Paraguay with the world to generate development,» he stated.
