Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, held a series of bilateral meetings with ministers of Israel as part of his official agenda.
First, he met with Israel’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Eli Cohen, who highlighted the excellent meeting and underscored the close friendship between Israel and Paraguay. On the occasion, Minister Cohen expressed his gratitude to Paraguay for its support for Israel at international forums and institutions, especially during the armed conflict, and reaffirmed his willingness to deepen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Subsequently, the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Israel’s Minister of Economy, Nir Barkat, who emphasized the strong relationship between the two countries and highlighted the existing potential for cooperation between Israeli innovation and technology and Paraguay’s agricultural sector.
Finally, Foreign Minister Ramírez Lezcano met with Israel’s Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin. During the meeting, they addressed issues of mutual interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening dialogue and bilateral cooperation.
