28 Paraguayans return from Israel through Government’s assistance

Asunción, Agencia IP.– A first group of 28 fellow citizens left Israel to return to Paraguay through coordinated work between the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Secretary of Repatriates, according to the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña.

By celebrating the news, the Head of State announced that the Government will keep assisting fellow citizens, and those who require it will be helped to evacuate.

 “All our support to the sister nation of Israel”, claimed the President through his social media.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that, in coordination with the Secretariat of Development for Repatriates and Refugees, it facilitated the air exit of 28 Paraguayans from the conflict zone of Israel after the attacks of the terrorist group Hamas on past Saturday.

The group of evacuates is comprised of 21 tourists who were doing a peregrination on the Holy Land and seven residents of Israel who requested to return to Paraguay. The Government covered the whole cost of the transfers.

The group of 7 that departs from the Airport of Tel Aviv will go through Egypt, Istanbul and San Paulo to arrive in our country on Friday at 00:40.

The group of pilgrims also depart from Israel, and they will go through Egypt, Frankfurt and San Paulo and arrive on Sunday at 00:40.
