Asunción, Agencia IP.- Paraguayan driver Diego Domínguez has written a new chapter in the history of national motorsport by claiming victory in the Rally of Japan.
The World Rally Championship 3 (WRC3) champion expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the national fans throughout the year, stating, «The support was deeply felt.»
«We are going back to Paraguay to celebrate with family this end of the year,» he said after his victory.
The Paraguayan driver, behind the wheel of his Ford Fiesta Rally3 and accompanied by his Spanish co-driver Rogelio Peñate, concluded his fifth win of the year, following triumphs in Portugal, Italy, Poland, and Chile.
