The accreditation process for media coverage of the 2025 Paraguay Rally has begun

Encarnación, Agencia IP.- The organizing committee of the ueno Rally del Paraguay 2025, the tenth round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), has announced the opening of the accreditation process for journalists, photographers, and media outlets interested in covering this international event. The rally will take place from August 28 to 31 in the city of Encarnación, Itapúa Department.

Accreditations must be requested exclusively online through the official rally website using the provided link. Each application must include the name of the media outlet, the applicant’s complete information, and a valid email address. Access details will be sent to the email provided once the form is completed. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

Deadlines for submitting applications are August 7, 2025, for Paraguayan media and August 13, 2025, for international media.

Eligible accreditation categories include print and digital media, national radio and television, international press and television, as well as commercial and promotional photographers.

Paraguayan media outlets may accredit up to three representatives (two journalists and one photographer). Websites may only accredit one journalist. Requests from media that operate exclusively on social media or from advertising, marketing, or sponsorship agencies will not be accepted.

Required documentation includes a formal letter on company letterhead signed by the director or editor-in-chief, the completed online accreditation form, a copy of the applicant’s press ID, representative details, publication information (such as print run, frequency, and web statistics if applicable), a sample of the publication (not required for websites or radio), previously published material about the WRC (not needed for new publications), a contact number, and confirmation of the intention to publish an article on the event with an estimated date.

Freelance journalists must include a list of published collaborations from the past 12 months. Some of these requirements do not apply to recognized news agencies.

International media must submit their requests directly via the official FIA portal, accessible through the provided link. The FIA’s External Relations Department will inform applicants of the outcome in writing up to two weeks prior to the event. Cancellations must be communicated at least seven days before the media center’s opening.

Both national and international television outlets, as well as any media planning to broadcast video content (live, delayed, or highlights), must obtain accreditation through the WRC Promoter via the links available on the event website.

Paraguayan photographers must prove prior coverage with at least 15 photos published in print media over the past two years, signed by the accredited photographer. First-time applications will be forwarded to the FIA WRC Media Delegate for approval. The FIA will limit the number of photographer vests for national outlets to 12, giving priority to publications based on circulation and reach. Outlets unable to accredit photographers will have free access to official event photos.

International photographers must demonstrate that they have had at least 15 photos published in motorsport, sports, or general news print media in the last two years. The published photos must be the original work of the photographer requesting accreditation. These applications must be submitted to the FIA WRC Accreditation Unit.
Commercial or promotional photographers, both national and international, must apply directly through the WRC Promoter via the official rally website.

The Ueno Rally del Paraguay 2025 will mark a milestone in the history of Paraguayan motorsport as it becomes part of the official WRC calendar. Media outlets interested in participating in this historic coverage are encouraged to initiate their accreditation process as soon as possible.
