Asunción, Agencia IP.- The company Forrajes Paraíso has completed its second international shipment of 20,000 kilograms of compacted hay, this time to Malaysia, following a similar delivery to the United Arab Emirates in August of last year. With this, Paraguay is strengthening its position as a supplier of high-quality forage on the international stage.
The recent shipment consisted of the Sumrall 007 variety, part of the Cynodon family, grown in the Paraguayan Chaco region, an area known for its strong agricultural potential.
Jerónimo Reinau, president of Forrajes Paraíso, emphasized that the product is intended for the feeding of high-performance horses in the Asian country, which highlights the premium quality of the bales produced in Paraguay.
«This order is special and made up of the best quality hay available in Paraguay,» he stated.
This achievement is the result of coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the Vice Ministry of Livestock, and the private sector, which are working together to promote national value-added products capable of reaching demanding markets such as those in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
This experience reaffirms the export potential of Paraguayan agriculture, particularly from regions like the Chaco, where innovative and sustainable initiatives are being developed to diversify the country’s export offerings to the global market.
