Interpol Department details requirements for issuing a Criminal Record Certificate

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Interpol OCN Department announced the requirements for obtaining a Criminal Record Certificate, a document required for various administrative and immigration procedures.

Among the required documents are the original application form provided by the local office and a notarized identity document from the country of origin, such as a national identity card (DNI) or a passport. Two passport-size photographs (3×4 cm) with a white background must also be submitted.

If the applicant has a Paraguayan identity card, a simple copy must be attached. If the document has been lost, a duly authenticated photocopy of the corresponding police report will be required. A copy of the permanent or temporary residency permit is also required, when applicable.

For minors, in addition to the general requirements, a signed application letter from the parent or guardian, also provided by the department, must be included, along with the mandatory presence of both parents and copies of their identity documents.

If the process is carried out by a third party, the corresponding authorization will be required.

The processing fee is G. 111,502. Payment must be made in cash only, as established by the institution. The Interpol OCN Department emphasized the importance of complying with all requirements to avoid delays in processing the certificate.
