According to Spanish experts, Paraguay is a growing market for innovations and startups

Asunción, Agencia IP.- During the strategic encounters with the Paraguayan Vice Minister of Communication of the Ministry of Technologies of Information and Communications (Mitic, by its acronym in Spanish), Alejandra Duarte Albospino, some specialists highlighted Paraguay’s potential as a favorable environment for business and technological innovation.

Through an agenda of strategic meetings in Spain, the Vice Minister aims to establish solid ties with communication specialists, agencies, and prominent journalists. The visit is part of the efforts of the Paraguayan Government to strengthen its presence in the international market and promote its technological and digital development.

In that sense, José María Blasco Ruiz, Director of Health and ICT Infrastructure at ICEX, highlighted the recognition of Paraguay by Area 101, the most significant innovation and startup community in Spain, as a market with a promising business climate, even in comparison with consolidated shopping centers such as Miami, USA. Likewise, the collaboration of Red.es, Spain’s digitalization agency, was discussed in areas such as Digital Justice, Water Digitalization, and startup programs.

On the other hand, Eugenio Martínez Bravo, CEO of KREAB Worldwide, manifested his interest in supporting Paraguay in public relations and strategic communications, pointing out the importance of a close collaboration between both nations. He also revealed his interest in visiting Paraguay and providing support in that field.

Likewise, Eduardo Álvarez Rodríguez, the President of the Strategic Communication Agency Puentia, and a group of prominent Spanish journalists highlighted the political and economic stability of Paraguay in the Latin American context and the importance of establishing permanent contacts to strengthen Paraguay’s presence in the Spanish market.

Vice Minister Duarte Albospino’s mission, accompanied by the Strategic Communication General Director, César Palacios, and Ambassador Liz Coronel, who is in charge of business at the Paraguayan Embassy in Spain, marks a significant step towards the consolidation of foreign affairs and the promotion of Paraguay’s technological and economic process.
