Agência Brasil expressed interest in narrow bonds with Agencia IP

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Strategic Communications General Director from the Ministry of Technologies of Information and Communication (Mitic, by its acronym in Spanish), César Palacios, met in Brasilia with the Brazil Communication Company that joins the central Brazilian Government and Public Media.

At the occasion, the possibility of a reciprocal cooperation agreement between Agência Brasil and Agencia IP from Paraguay was discussed so that information of interest could be exchanged and disseminated.

The meeting was led by Cidinha Matos, Journalist Director of the Agência Brasil; José de Arimatéia, Director of Operations, Engineering, and Technology; Sheily Lopes, Director of the Radio Network; Priscila Mendes, TV Manager and Juliana Cézar, Director of the Agency. The Paraguayan delegation was accompanied by Rossy Riquelme, Officer of the Embassy of Paraguay in Brazil.

Matos manifested his delight in receiving the Paraguayan delegation and expressed his desire to sign an agreement in the short term to generate an exchange of informative content between both countries.

The Brazil Communication Company is a federal public enterprise with a media conglomerate, founded in 2007 to provide public broadcasting services and manage federal public radio and TV stations.

It is also responsible for EBC Services, which produces the program “La Voz del Brasil” for the Secretariat of the Government of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil and manages the National Radio Network. It is highlighted that Radio Brasilia, today Rádio Nacional (National Radio), was founded in 1958, two years before the capital Brasilia, and served as the primary source of information for the workers who built this city as the capital of Brazil.
