Asunción, Agencia IP.- The British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, is visiting the country for the first time this Tuesday. In that context, he will meet with the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, at the Government Palace.
The British Foreign Secretary is expected to arrive in the country at approximately 5:00 PM and will proceed directly to the López Palace, where he will take a tour to learn more about Paraguayan history and the facilities of the Executive branch headquarters.
Subsequently, he will meet with President Santiago Peña, accompanied by his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano.
The high-level meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Afterward, both foreign ministers will hold a press conference around 7:30 PM.
This is the first time a British Foreign Secretary will visit Paraguayan land, a fact that the Embassy of that country in Paraguay attributes to the «commitment of the Government of Great Britain to strengthen relations with Latin America.»
