Asunción, Agencia IP.- On Wednesday, March 6, the Panam Sports delegation’s official visit, the Pan American Games organizing body began to evaluate the country’s conditions to host the event in 2027. After their presentation, they were received yesterday by President Santiago Peña at Mburuvicha Róga.
The meeting with the President consolidates the government’s commitment to demonstrate its ability to host another major sporting event.
Inspection tasks began with presenting the details that make Paraguay an ideal destination for the 2027 Pan American Games. Today’s session will conclude with a visit to the site where the construction of a Pan-American Village is projected.
Today, visits will continue to the SND Complex and Paraguay Olympic Park sports venues. Likewise, a tour of the corporate area of Asunción and the hotel zone will take place.
The final decision on the designation of the host will be announced at an extraordinary assembly on March 12, which will include 41 member countries of Panam Sports.
