Asunción, Agencia IP.- «Headquarters confirmed! The city of Asunción, located in the heart of South America, will once again host the Final of the South American Cup,» announced the president of Conmebol Fútbol Alejandro Domínguez.
«The Great Conquest 2024 will have its exciting outcome in Paraguay,» the leader published on his social network X.
The big event will be on November 23 of this year. The venue has not yet been made official, but it will most likely be the General Pablo Rojas stadium of the Cerro Porteño Club.
It will be the second final of the Sudamericana to be played in Asunción since the first one was played on November 9, 2019, between the teams of Colon from Argentina and Independiente del Valle from Ecuador.
Conversely, Domínguez announced that the 2025 competition’s final will be played in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
