Asunción, Agencia IP.– The Foundation «Maestro Cares» of the American singer of Puerto Rican origin, Marc Anthony, announced the project to build an integral wellness center for children with cancer in Paraguay with the help of the Renaci Foundation.
The project, which includes 27 other initiatives the foundation supports in 13 countries, was announced by the singer and his wife, the Paraguayan Nadia Ferreira, during the past weekend.
«To be a part of this initiative makes me proud, and there is a lot to do left,» said the singer. «This center will help many kids with cancer through the Renaci Foundation,» expressed his wife, Nadia Ferreira.
According to Maestro Cares Foundation’s website, the program aims to build the «Renaci Integral Wellness Center» facilities, but until now «does not have an independent facility to provide its services.»
The project includes health services such as oncology, a specialized diagnostic laboratory, medical offices, a psychological support office, areas for recreational activities during treatment, an educational classroom, a palliative care rehabilitation room, a kitchenette, a waiting room, and restrooms.
With all these, the Renaci Foundation will have a massive impulse. It is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 with the mission of helping children and adolescents (0 to 18 years old) with cancer, providing prompt access to appropriate treatment and comprehensive assistance to the child and their family.
The Renaci Foundation operates at the Children’s Pediatric Hospital and in four offices nationwide.
