Asunción, Agencia IP.- On October 26, with the presence of the Presidents Santiago Peña and Luis Inácio «Lula» da Silva, the meeting of revision of the Annex C of the Binational Itaipu will occur in Brasilia, the Government announced on Thursday.
The National Chancellor, Rubén Ramírez, informed that on October 26, the meeting between Presidents and the Itaipu Council for the start of the negotiations of the Annex C will take place.
The Binational Itaipu sent President Peña the formal invitation “to start the treatment for the revision of Annex C of the Itaipu Treaty between Paraguay and Brazil.” The meeting will occur in the morning at the Ministry of Mines and Energy headquarters in Brasilia.
“On this encounter will accompany the General Director from the Brazil side of the Binational Itaipu, Enio Verri, and the Paraguayan General Director, Justo Zacarías Irún,” according to the Presidency of the Republic.
