Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Paraguayan team will compete in masculine and female categories. The male team will compete today against Uruguay at 5 p.m. at Court 1 of the SND Arena, corresponding to the match of Group A. The female team will match in Series C against Japan and Court 5 of the Quinta Sports Club at 5 p.m.
It will be six days of intense competition from tomorrow; the second round will take place on Wednesday, the band of sixteenths; on Thursday, the quarterfinals; on Friday, the semifinals; and on Saturday, the finals.
The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, participated in the inaugural ceremony and invited the athletes and the citizens in general to accompany the event, which will take place in our capital over the next five days.
“I invite you to come and support our team,” said the Head of State in a published video by the National Sports Secretariat (SND, by its acronym in Spanish).
