Paraguay emerges as one of the fastest-growing countries in the contact center sector

Asunción, Agencia IP – The Spanish news portal Parada Visual, specializing in customer experience and contact centers, has highlighted Paraguay’s local industry as Latin America’s most rapidly evolving hub. It underscores our economic, monetary, legal, and political stability, along with favorable fiscal policies and the availability of multilingual human resources.

The Spanish outlet asserts that Paraguay is the leading country in the contact center sector, boasting a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.4% between 2020 and 2024. This information is presented in an article titled «Latin American Countries with the Highest Growth in the Contact Center Sector,» outlining the positioning of various regional markets regarding service outsourcing.

According to the source, Colombia exhibits the subsequent highest growth, following Paraguay, with a CAGR of 14.2% between 2020 and 2024, followed by Argentina at 13.8% during the same period.

«Paraguay is emerging as one of the countries with the most opportunities in the external market for contact center services, leveraging markets different from Argentina and Chile, such as Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, and Spain. Paraguay stands out for its economic, monetary, legal, and political stability, advantageous fiscal policies, availability of multilingual human resources, and service-oriented culture,» expresses the Spanish outlet, citing a study conducted by the consulting firm Frost&Sullivan for Capacc.

In response to this recognition, Oscar Piris, President of the Paraguayan Chamber of Contact Center and BPO (Capacc), stated that the local sector is well-equipped to meet the high demands of this industry. «We are working on positioning that not only encompasses our Chamber but also aims to establish Paraguay as the premier destination for service outsourcing,» he explains.

Piris adds that the development and growth of the contact center sector will be highly beneficial for the country «as it is one of the most dynamic and competitive in the world of services, serving as a major generator of employment, innovation, and development.»

He assures that the sector is undoubtedly prepared to contribute to President Santiago Peña’s campaign promise of creating 500,000 jobs in five years, attracting investments, and increasing the export share of services from Paraguay to the world.

Regarding the local market conditions, the President of Capacc emphasizes that the sector’s strengths are grounded in the investments made by each company, which either match or, in some cases, exceed national and international standards.
