Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, congratulated Javier Milei for his victory at the Argentinian elections, which took place yesterday. Likewise, Peña offered Paraguay’s cordial and fraternal hand to strengthen relations between both countries.

Also, he congratulated Javier Milei for winning on the ballotage with 55% of the votes. He offered «Paraguay’s cordial and fraternal hand to strengthen relations between our countries. To the great Argentine people, cheers!»
Javier Milei, the candidate of «La Libertad Avanza» (LLA), became the next elected President of Argentina after obtaining 11 points ahead of his opponent from «Unión por la Patria» (UxP), Sergio Massa, who reached 44.22% of the votes in the runoff held this Sunday, where just over half of the voters (55.75%) gave the victory to the libertarian economist.
