President will travel on Saturday to Washington to develop «a dynamic agenda»

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, will travel on Saturday to Washington, United States of America, where he will develop a «very dynamic agenda» from October 22 to 26, which includes meetings with senators and representatives of the American Congress and business delegations.

Decree Nº 545 assigned the official retinue to accompany the Head of State on his trip from October 22 to 26 in Washington D.C., United States of America.

Santiago Peña will go into the American Capital along with the First Lady, Leticia Ocampos, the Head of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic, Lea Giménez, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Javier Giménez, and the Minister of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Rolando de Barros.

The delegation is also integrated by the Minister of Technologies of Information and Communication, Gustavo Villate, Senator Gustavo Leite, the General Director of Ceremonial of the State, José María González, the General Coordinator of the First Lady Office, Alicia Pomata, and the Security Chief of the President, Oscar Sostoa.

It is important to mention that Chancellor Rubén Ramírez Lezcano has already travelled last night to adjust the details of the Presidency agenda that, among others, contemplates a meeting with the President of the Organization of American States (OAS), senators and representatives of the United States of America Congress.

Likewise, the President will maintain encounters with organizations to promote commerce and investments and with the Paraguayan collectivity in that country.
