Santiago Peña dialogued about topics of binational interest with US legislators

Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, reunited today with legislators and representatives of the US Government to approach topics of binational interest that unite both nations.

The Head of State spoke with the democrat Senator Martin Heinrich. On occasion, they talked about “the projects and interests that united our nations,” said Peña through his X social account.

Afterward, he met with the Republican Senator Bill Cassidy, whom he talked to regarding projects the United States and Paraguay are working on and the historical cooperation between both countries for common visions.

Likewise, Peña maintained an encounter with Mario Díaz Balart, legislator of the Republican Party of the United States, and with the Senator of the same party, James Risch, aiming to abord topics of binational interest.

The agenda of President Peña in Washington goes on with other high-level meetings, including the Commander of the Southern Command, General Laura Richardson, and Google executives.

According to the official agenda, Santiago Peña will maintain meetings with other Senators and business persons.
