Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Secretary of State of the United States of America, Antony J. Blinken, congratulated the Paraguayan people on the 213th anniversary of Independence.
In his greeting, Blinken emphasized the importance of the partnership between both countries and highlighted the United States’ commitment to equitable economic growth and regional security.
The Secretary of State expressed, «The United States values its warm and enduring partnership with Paraguay as we promote equitable economic growth for our countries and security in the region.»
«As we mark another year of close and excellent relations between our governments and peoples, we will continue to strengthen our democracies by promoting greater transparency, accountability, and equality,» he added.
The National Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the governments of Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Turkey, India, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Israel, and the Maldives also greeted Paraguay.
Additionally, Pope Francis sent greetings to Paraguay, which were read this Tuesday during the Te Deum Mass at the Cathedral of Asunción.
