Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Deputy Minister of Technologies at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (Mitic), Juan Ardissone, has been nominated for the Future of Government Awards 2023.
This distinction, organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), recognizes professionals, teams, and leaders transforming people’s lives by applying digital solutions and public sector reforms.
This international recognition has received over 300 nominations from more than 50 countries, distributed across five categories. Deputy Minister Juan Ardissone is among the outstanding nominees for the Leadership Award, which celebrates leaders whose impact has made a real difference in people’s lives.
Other nominees in the same category include prominent leaders such as Abhishek Singh from India, Alejandra Torres from Argentina, and Jamila Akaaga Ade from Nigeria, who also hold decision-making roles regarding technology policies in the public sector.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 15. The announcement of the winners will take place at an event that promises to recognize and celebrate exceptional efforts in applying technology for public welfare.
