Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Paraguayan Ambassador in Türkiye, Ceferino Valdez, communicated that they are assisting fellow citizens seeking to return to Paraguay from Israel. All the procedures are being coordinated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We received the instructions of the Paraguayan’s Chancellery. Each Embassy of the region is receiving a group. According to how they are going, the Foreign Ministry is coordinating everything and notifies each Embassy of the groups that correspond to it,” Valdez explained in an interview with Radio Nacional del Paraguay.
He mentioned that, in the case of the Paraguayan Embassy in Türkiye, they are receiving a second group of fellow citizens who arrived from different flights. They assist until they take their flight to San Paulo and Asunción.
“So far, two groups have come through Istanbul. We are receiving close cooperation from the Turkish Chancellery. They have left us to use the VIP rooms for our fellow citizens; we are taking this chance to get them to know a little more about the Turkish culture because they have several hours of layout, besides everything they have been through”, he claimed.
He highlighted that the Embassy has made all the facilities available to guarantee a good stay and transit to your destination. “The experience that the fellow citizens have had is challenging and traumatic”, referred the Ambassador.
“I want to transmit calm to families and friends of the Paraguayans that have come. They are alright, and they will be assisted”, he said. The diplomat assured that they were working correctly and coordinately despite the sudden situation.
The Ambassador remarked that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating the transfer of Paraguayans, considering that some flight availabilities and Government support must be checked. Valdez indicated that the assisted people would arrive in Asunción tonight.
