Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Government spokesperson figure was officially presented this Wednesday at Mburuvicha Roga, a role aimed at ensuring fluid and ongoing communication with the citizens.
Paula Carro will occupy the spokesperson role, holding weekly press conferences every Wednesday with the media to discuss executive branch activities and strategic topics for the Government.
In addition, it has profiles on social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
«Paraguay’s Government wants an active citizenship that participates in the design of public policies,» stated the spokesperson. She explained that this information coordination work will be done with all Executive Branch institutions.
This spokesperson role «does not replace the voice of the Ministers or the President of the Republic.» Still, it will be a joint effort between the press and the citizens for constant communication, emphasized Alejandra Duarte, the Deputy Minister of Communication of Mitic.
Deputy Minister Duarte and Mitic Minister Gustavo Vilalte accompanied the new spokesperson. The hiring process will be through the Ministry, according to the authorities.
