Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Head of State, Santiago Peña, and the Vice President of the Republic, Pedro Alliana, greet the Republic of China (Taiwan) for its celebration of Double Tenth Day. They reaffirmed their support and commitment to cooperating for the benefit of both nations.
“Today is the Double Tenth Day, the National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan), an opportunity to greet every inhabitant of this sister nation and reaffirm our support and commitment to continue cooperating for the good of our nations,” Peña expressed this Tuesday through the X social network.
The Vice President wrote in that line, “To the sister nation of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to this special day. May it be conducive to reaffirming our bonds of friendship, cooperation, and fighting for democratic values. Happy Double Ten, Taiwan,” he wrote through a post on his account on the same social platform as the President.
Likewise, the Chancellery wished that the friendship and shared values bonds for the defense of democracy be strengthened between both nations.
The Double Tenth Day is a tribute to Chinese revolutionaries and nationalists who overturned the monarchist classes in 1911.
