Sin embargo, el n\u00famero de desocupados en el pa\u00eds fue de 12,3 millones durante el \u00faltimo trimestre.<\/p>\n<p>En el cuarto trimestre de 2015, la tasa era de 9 por ciento, por lo que en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o la cifra de personas que buscan trabajo creci\u00f3 en 3,3 millones, un aumento de 36 por ciento.<\/p>\n<p>El empeoramiento se dio en un pa\u00eds que vivi\u00f3 su segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo de recesi\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica. Con los nuevos datos, la media de desempleo cerr\u00f3 en 2016 con un promedio de 11,5 por ciento y el ingreso del trabajador promedio fue de 2.029 reales (alrededor de USD 650).<\/p>\n<p>El reporte tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 el descenso del empleo formal, ya que 1,4 millones de personas pasaron a puestos de trabajo precarizados.<\/p>\n<p>Brasil registr\u00f3 una recesi\u00f3n de 3,8% en 2015 y las evaluaciones de 2016 son de una contracci\u00f3n del PIB de 3,5 por ciento (los resultados se publicar\u00e1n en marzo).
