contaminantes mundiales alcanzar\u00e1n un nuevo r\u00e9cord en 2023 debido a la insuficiencia de planes de recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica pospand\u00e9micos que incluyan el uso de energ\u00edas renovables, advirti\u00f3 la Agencia Internacional de Energ\u00eda (AIE).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los Estados, sobre todo los occidentales, invirtieron grandes cantidades de dinero p\u00fablico para sostener sus econom\u00edas durante la pandemia, pero solo el 2% de estos recursos se destinaron a energ\u00edas renovables, seg\u00fan un estudio de los planes de recuperaci\u00f3n realizado por la AIE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta ahora, la mayor parte de los 16 billones de d\u00f3lares anunciados para hacer frente a la crisis provocada por la Covid-19 se destinaron a medidas sanitarias y de apoyo a las empresas y familias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unos 2,3 billones se invirtieron en la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, pero solo 380.000 millones en impulsar energ\u00edas verdes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por este motivo, \u00abteniendo en cuenta las previsiones actuales de gasto p\u00fablico, las emisiones de CO2 (di\u00f3xido de carbono) siguen una trayectoria que las llevar\u00e1 a niveles r\u00e9cord en 2023 y seguir\u00e1n creciendo los a\u00f1os siguientes\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abDesde el inicio de la crisis de la Covid-19, numerosos Gobiernos destacaron la importancia de reconstruirse con un modelo mejor, para un futuro m\u00e1s limpio, pero muchos de ellos a\u00fan deben convertir sus palabras en hechos\u00bb, asegur\u00f3 el director de AIE, Fatih Birol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abNo solo la inversi\u00f3n en energ\u00edas renovables en el mundo se encuentra lejos de la trayectoria que permita alcanzar la neutralidad de carbono a mediados de siglo, sino que ni siquiera logran evitar un nuevo r\u00e9cord de emisiones\u00bb, lament\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La principal raz\u00f3n es que faltan fondos p\u00fablicos y privados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan c\u00e1lculos realizados a mediados de 2020 por la AIE y el FMI, ser\u00eda necesario un bill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares de inversi\u00f3n verde adicional anual durante tres a\u00f1os con respecto a lo pactado en el acuerdo clim\u00e1tico de Par\u00eds, lo que permitir\u00eda crear \u00ab9 millones de empleos\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta ahora, las medidas adoptadas supondr\u00e1n 350.000 millones de d\u00f3lares de inversiones adicionales anuales, de 2021 a 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es m\u00e1s que antes del coronavirus, pero sigue siendo insuficiente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La tendencia es particularmente alarmante en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo y emergentes, donde, por ejemplo, el aumento de la demanda el\u00e9ctrica halla su respuesta
