This initiative aims to develop the market for non-hydropower electric energy, an industry virtually nonexistent in the country today.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President of the Republic, Santiago Pe\u00f1a, signed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/decretos.presidencia.gov.py\/api\/norma\/download\/65c9e97c1e23b45a8ca93d6e\">Decree No. 1,168,<\/a><\/strong> approving the regulations of Law No. 6977\/2023, \u00abRegulating the promotion, generation, production, development, and use of electric energy from non-conventional renewable energy sources other than hydropower.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President said, \u00abWe are working together on state policies that promote our energy security for many more years.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He mentioned that with the regulation of Law 6977, alternative electric energy sources will be promoted so that Paraguay&#8217;s development does not stop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abWe are securing our energy for the future!
