El r\u00e9gimen de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro lo conden\u00f3 a 13 a\u00f1os, 9 meses y 7 d\u00edas de prisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El ex presidente del gobierno espa\u00f1ol Felipe Gonz\u00e1lez afirm\u00f3 que \u00abVenezuela se ha convertido en una dictadura de facto\u00bb con la sentencia al l\u00edder opositor, a quien consider\u00f3 un \u00abpreso pol\u00edtico de (Nicol\u00e1s) Maduro\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abNi dentro ni fuera de Venezuela, nadie puede llamarse a enga\u00f1o. Venezuela se ha convertido en una dictadura de facto. El Presidente decide por el Parlamento y por la Justicia\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Gonz\u00e1lez en una declaraci\u00f3n con motivo de la sentencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLeopoldo L\u00f3pez ha sido condenado por Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, como todos los dem\u00e1s presos pol\u00edticos de Venezuela\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 en la declaraci\u00f3n, en la que agreg\u00f3 que al l\u00edder opositor venezolano, \u00abcomo a los dem\u00e1s condenados, le atribuyen los actos de violencia y las muertes que son responsabilidad del Gobierno\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el ex mandatario colombiano Andr\u00e9s Pastrana escribi\u00f3 en Twitter: \u00abHoy injustamente se ha condenado a un gran dem\u00f3crata de Am\u00e9rica Latina. Toda nuestra solidaridad para con @liliantintori @antonietamlopez\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En los Estados Unidos, la noticia tambi\u00e9n tuvo repercusiones. La congresista Ileana Ros-Lehtinen fue una de las primeras en manifestarse en las redes sociales: \u00abEEUU debe aplicar sanciones contra los jueces, fiscales y los oficiales de Ramo Verde sobre el caso de @LeopoldoLopez #LeopoldoEsInocente\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En tanto, otro congresista, Mario D\u00edaz-Balart, expres\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n en Twitter: \u00ab@leopoldolopez -\u00a1sigamos en solidaridad contigo! #LeopoldoLibre #SOSVzla\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLa condena infundada del l\u00edder opositor Leopoldo L\u00f3pez y tres estudiantes venezolanos, en relaci\u00f3n con incidentes violentos ocurridos durante las protestas de 2014 en el pa\u00eds, muestra el deterioro extremo del estado de derecho en Venezuela\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Human Rights Watch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEl juicio estuvo marcado por grav\u00edsimas violaciones del debido proceso, y no se aportaron pruebas que vinculen a los acusados con ning\u00fan delito\u00bb, explic\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n, citando a Jos\u00e9 Miguel Vivanco, director para las Am\u00e9ricas de Human Rights Watch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEste caso es una farsa\u00bb, expres\u00f3 Vivanco, quien agreg\u00f3 que \u00aben un pa\u00eds sin independencia judicial, una jueza provisoria sin inamovilidad en el cargo condena a cuatro personas inocentes luego de un proceso en el cual el Ministerio P\u00fablico no aport\u00f3 evidencias que los vinculen con delito alguno, y no se permiti\u00f3 a los acusados a ejercer su defensa adecuadamente\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amnist\u00eda Internacional tambi\u00e9n repudi\u00f3 la sentencia<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amnist\u00eda Internacional (AI) denunci\u00f3 la \u00ababsoluta\u00bb falta de independencia judicial de Venezuela, tras conocerse la condena a casi 14 a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n contra Leopoldo L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sentencia se emiti\u00f3 \u00absin ninguna evidencia cre\u00edble en su contra\u00bb y muestra la ausencia de \u00abimparcialidad judicial\u00bb en ese pa\u00eds, se\u00f1ala AI en un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLos cargos contra Leopoldo L\u00f3pez nunca fueron adecuadamente sustanciados y la sentencia de prisi\u00f3n en su contra tiene una clara motivaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica. Su \u00fanico delito es ser l\u00edder de un partido opositor en Venezuela\u00bb, dijo Erika Guevara-Rosas, directora para las Am\u00e9ricas de AI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abNunca debi\u00f3 haber sido arrestado arbitrariamente o enjuiciado.
