We conducted a final validation with experts from the Paraguayan Center of Engineers, officially concluding, as of October 30, with 3,038 million MWh of generated energy,\u00bb stated the Guinness World Records representative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abWe are the largest hydroelectric power generation plant in the world,\u00bb said Justo Zacar\u00edas, the Paraguayan director of Itaipu, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the dedication of Itaipu\u2019s workforce over 50 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abThis accomplishment belongs to the thousands of Paraguayan and Brazilian workers who made it possible for us to be here today receiving this recognition,\u00bb he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enio Verri, the Brazilian director of Itaipu, said, \u00abThis is the result of 50 years of hard work and dedication.
