This generated <\/span><span class=\"s1\">$1,776,828,610<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> in revenue for the sector.<\/span><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\">The volume exported in 2024 continues a steady growth trend in Paraguayan beef shipments, which have surpassed <\/span><span class=\"s1\">300 million kilos annually<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> since 2021. Chile was the largest buyer, purchasing over <\/span><span class=\"s1\">120 million kilos<\/span><span class=\"s2\">of Paraguayan beef during the year. Other key markets included Taiwan, Brazil, Israel, the United States, and Russia, collectively accounting for <\/span><span class=\"s1\">75% of total exports<\/span><span class=\"s2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\">A record was also set in cattle slaughter, with <\/span><span class=\"s1\">22,213,203 cattle processed<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> in 2024. The processing plants with the highest volumes were <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Bel\u00e9n<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, with 36,759 cattle, and <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Concepci\u00f3n<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, with 21,094 cattle.
