He also highlighted the advantages Paraguay offers to investors.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Deputy Minister of Industry, Marco Riquelme, and the President of the Paraguayan Animal Health and Quality Service (Senacsa), Jos\u00e9 Carlos Martin, welcomed Ambalada, who owns one of the leading battery factories in Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ambalada\u2019s visit coincides with the arrival of a Filipino sanitary delegation to Paraguay. The delegation is tasked with auditing Paraguayan beef in view of its potential export to the Asian country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00abThe investor is extremely interested in learning more about the opportunities Paraguay has to offer and will remain in the country throughout the week. We consider this an exciting and attractive opportunity from every point of view,\u00bb stated Riquelme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The business group has shown special interest in vehicle battery manufacturing. In this context, specialists from the Vice Ministry of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex) gave a detailed presentation on the advantages Paraguay offers investors, highlighting special regimes such as maquila and Law 60\/90, which made a strong impression on Ambalada.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Beef export opportunity for Paraguay in the Filipino market<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Filipino sanitary delegation also represents a significant opportunity for Paraguay\u2019s beef sector, according to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">With a population of 120 million, the Philippines is a large-scale market with high meat consumption. Ninety-nine percent of the beef is imported.
