This tool allows foreign investors to obtain permanent residency directly through various investment modalities, without the need for temporary residency.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the options available to obtain this passport are investments of USD 150,000 in tourism projects, or USD 200,000 in the Paraguayan stock market or real estate sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marco Riquelme, Minister of Industry and Commerce (MIC), explained during the presentation that this tool addresses the \u00abneed to offer greater flexibility to investors,\u00bb as many of them \u00abseek to establish themselves in Paraguay first and subsequently develop their investment projects.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Riquelme highlighted that the program incorporates tax benefits for investors, such as a lower tax rate on dividends for residents, reduced from 15% to 8%, and that the process is carried out primarily electronically, requiring physical presence in Paraguay only for the issuance of the identity card.
