Marcos Jr. at the Malaca\u00f1ang Palace, becoming the first Paraguayan President to visit the Southeast Asian country since the establishment of diplomatic relations on December 12, 1962.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two leaders held a bilateral meeting to discuss areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These institutional and trade exchanges aim to strengthen ties between Paraguay and the Philippines, countries that emphasize their commitment to integration and present themselves as gateways to their respective regional markets, reported the Philippine state broadcaster PTV News.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A new stage in bilateral relations<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u00abThis fact is not merely protocolary.
