Asunción, Agencia IP.- The National Administration of Electricity (ANDE, by its acronym in Spanish) projects to reinforce its fleet of electric vehicles through the support of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF, by its acronym in Spanish).
The President of ANDE, Félix Sosa, and his technical team maintained a reunion with representatives from the CAF and the technical team from the Programme E-Motion. They had the chance to discuss the financial programme and the implementation of electric vehicles in institutions from the state.
The objective of the reunion was to present the programme details to the state company with the main characteristics. Likewise, to establish the initiatives and interest that ANDE have related to keep adding electric vehicles to its fleet, and find synergies and support opportunities for this implementation.
The Programme E-Motion foresees financing up to 300 electric buses, 400 light cargo vehicles and 20 fast charging stations. It is highlighted that the aforementioned program will be able to offer highly competitive terms and rates, thanks to the participation of the Green Climate Fund.
