Asunción, Agencia IP.- The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, participated in a session of the Global Americans organization, where he discussed Paraguay’s present and future and reaffirmed his commitment to democracy and economic development.
During his official visit to the United States, the president participated in a session of Global Americans, an independent and nonpartisan think tank dedicated to providing valuable research and analysis for government officials, business executives, journalists, academics, and others interested in Latin America and the Caribbean.
On this occasion, he presented Paraguay’s current state and future, as he announced on Thursday through his social media.
Additionally, he shared the country’s progress and challenges, reaffirming his commitment to democracy and economic development, which «will bring greater well-being to all Paraguayans.»
Conversation with former President Bill Clinton
Paraguay’s Head of State also spoke with former President Bill Clinton, during which they discussed topics of mutual interest between Paraguay and the United States.
In this context, Santiago Peña appreciated Clinton’s vast experience and sharp vision, which allowed for a deeper analysis of crucial matters for both nations.
